ABOUT ME
Ashke Zinctala
Certified Clinical Herbalist, Certified Clinical Nutritionist, Certified Bach Flower Essences Practitioner, Certified Trauma Informed Practitioner, Certified TRE® Provider, and Educator
I was inspired to begin studying herbal medicines almost a decade ago after not finding the answers I was looking for within the standard medical system. Modern medicine is an incredible tool and saves lives everyday, but the reality is that it was not designed to heal or prevent chronic health issues.
This herbal offering is named Maka Pejuta, which means Earth Medicine in the Lakota language, reflecting the foundation for my work with clients. I am a descendent of the Oglala and Sicangu Lakota Sioux, and hope to carry on the legacy and traditions of my ancestors with her work.
No matter where you come from, your ancestors left you with the tradition and technology of plant medicine as allies. We can use this technology in combination with a nourishing diet, vitalist practices, and relationship to the elements to heal from chronic health issues and old wounds, and to remember who we really are.
I am a queer cis-gendered woman, and work to create a safe and inclusive space for all of my clients.
